These terms are between you and Makeshft Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using TheKnow, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use TheKnow. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.
TheKnow is currently free to use. We help you discover restaurants based on your unique taste profile—not crowd ratings. We may introduce features like:

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your password, and let us know immediately if you think your account has been compromised.
You can delete your account anytime from your settings. We'll keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind, then permanently delete it.
When you rate restaurants, write reviews, or share content on TheKnow, you give us permission to use that content to:
You still own your content, but you grant us a license to use it in these ways. Don't post anything illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share.
Be respectful. Don't harass others, post spam, or try to game the system. We're building a community based on authentic taste preferences, not fake reviews or manipulative behavior.
When we launch messaging features, you'll be able to block users and report inappropriate behavior. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
TheKnow provides restaurant recommendations, but:
We're constantly improving TheKnow. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll try to give you a heads up about major changes, but we can't guarantee the service will always stay the same.
You can stop using TheKnow anytime. We can also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, though we'll usually warn you first unless it's a serious violation.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Makeshft Inc. is registered. If we have a dispute, let's try to work it out directly first.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages or losses.
We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the app. Continuing to use TheKnow after changes means you accept the new terms.
